Natural disasters affect millions of people every year and cause damages worth in the hundreds of billions. In 2017 alone, almost 335 natural disasters have affected more than 95.6 million people, killed around 9,697, and costing around US $335 billion. The impact of these phenomena can be reduced if we were able to predict their occurrence.

Predicting natural disasters such as fire, earthquakes, floods, etc. are infrequent and stochastic; prediction and detection of these natural disasters should be fast and accurate as they may cause damage and destruction on large scales.

Implementing Lorgan’s Enigma platform in just a few days, governments and other natural disaster response organisations can now predict and detect natural disasters earlier.
